Last Sunday the Madrid Catalan Circle´s Rusiñol Theatre Group gave a solidarity performance of the play “Three Top Hats” by Miguel Mihura, all proceeds going to Akshy.
The event was very successful and the audience, who enjoyed it and laughed so much during the play, helped by buying tickets to collect funds for Akshy. Certain members, sponsors and the Akshy team in Spain were pleased to meet up again and, above all, it was wonderful to see so many people come together and be part of a common cause – for the benefit of our Akshy children.
The amount collected will be spent on the purchase of books for the children in our 3 schools for the new Education Programme since this month of April means the start of a new academic year, 2019/2020.
We want to say an enormous THANK YOU to all those who went to the play, to those who contributed with Row O, and to all those who helped in the sale of tickets to make it a big success, to have it so well received, who publicised the event and to the solidarity and initiative of the Rusiñol Theatre Group who did all this for Akshy..
